Thomas Eisfeld

I am a PhD Candidate at CORE/LIDAM, UCLouvain, and ECARES, ULB.

My research interests include Industrial Organization and Behavioral Economics, with a special focus on issues of the digital economy.

I study how marketplace design influences competition within the digital sector. As a member of the Excellence of Science project IWABE, I also investigate the implications of social comparison and peer effects on individual decision-making under uncertainty. I employ a combination of theoretical and experimental methodologies in my research.

Moreover, I was recently awarded with an F.R.S.-FNRS FRESH grant.

My dissertation is realised under the supervision of Georg Kirchsteiger at ULB, and Johannes Johnen and François Maniquet at UCLouvain.
